Llama: Llamas are awesome! (1)
My English Okay, yes, my English is probably pathetic. Yes, I'm Canadian, and normally, my country is suppose to be bilingual, and... Wait, I'm sure you can understand my line right now. I'm not so bad. And if I thought well, most of the English people in Canada have difficulty whit my so beautiful language : French! Canadian French, please. I like my accent. Yes, it's true, French is a very difficult language, I don't blame you. But its beauty is in his poetry, his subtleties, his strength of character, his... So yes, I like - no, I love my language. I am very tempted to use French on Deviantart, mainly by sense of belonging, French is so

Thank you so much for the watch! =)
Joyeux Noël et bonne année 2012 (en retard)!!

A (late) Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
Thank you for the watch!

Ah, you're a Canadienne! I wish I had learned Quebequois growing up, but out here on the west coast, we didn't have any teachers that -spoke- French, so I learned the colours and numbers again and again every year. So, I can say 'rouge' and 'vert' ever so nicely, but that's about it. ^^;
Haha, if you want, I can teach you, if you have time! And in the same time, you can help me with my english!

Québecois:
Haha, si tu veux, je peux t'apprendre, si tu as le temps! Et en même temps, tu peux m'aider avec mon anglais!
Sure! How would I say:
"how do I say _____ in French?"

something something En Francais...? is all I know. ^^ The funny thing is, I can recognize a bit of French reading it, but I don't know how to put it together myself.
"How do I say ____ in French?"

Litteraly, it's: "Comment je dis ___ en français?"
But normally, we say: "Comment on dit _____ en français?"
And if you want to talk with more nobless : "Comment dit-on _____ en français?"

How = Comment

And for the verb : to say = dire
I say = Je dis
You (sing.) say = Tu dis
He/she says = Il/elle dit
We say = Nous disons
You (pl.) say = Vous disez
They say = Ils/Elles disent

It's why french is more difficult, just for verb. In french, the end of each verb is different according to a logic. In english, just the 3th person in sing. is different.

The logic in french:
Je = -s
Tu = -s
Il/elle = -t
Nous = -ons
Vous = -ez
Ils/elles = -ent

Warning: There are many exceptions in French language, the logic can sometimes change depending on the verb.

Ho! And we don't have a "it", we use "he"(il) or "she"(elle) for an object depend if it's a "nom masculin" or a "nom féminin".

Ex: Vase (nom masculin)

Un vase vert. = A green vase.
Il est vert. = It's green.

Ex: Montagne (nom féminin)

Une montagne blanche. = A white mountain.
Elle est blanche. = It's white.

And finally, we have a "on". It's like a "we" (nous) but we conjugate it like a "he/she" (il/elle).

Ex:
On disons (No)
On dit (Yes)

... I hope it doesn't scare you! It's a lot of things for the first time, sorry. I'm just so excited to see an English who want to learn french!! \^___^/ Normally, it's Qebecois who have to work hard 'cause not all the English Canadian want to speak french... So thank, you give me hope!
